RockStar Barber ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at rockstarbarber.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and how we handle it. We keep this simple because our data practices are simple.

Information you give us

This website has no contact form and collects nothing from you directly. If you text or email us, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message, and we use it solely to answer you. We do not sell, rent, or share it with anyone for marketing. Text messages reach us through our mobile carrier and email through our email provider, each under its own privacy policy.

Booking

When you click a "Book" button, you are taken to our scheduling provider, Square Appointments. Any information you enter there is collected by Square under its own privacy policy. We receive your booking details from Square in order to provide your appointment. See Square's privacy policy for how it handles your data.

Embedded video

Our homepage includes a video that loads from Vimeo only after you click to play it. If you play the video, Vimeo may set cookies and collect data about your interaction under its own privacy policy. If you do not click play, the Vimeo player does not load. See Vimeo's privacy policy.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google's GA4 product, loaded via gtag.js) to understand general traffic patterns, such as which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and where they come from. GA4 may set cookies and collect data about your visit, including a randomly assigned identifier, your approximate location (typically at the city level), the device and browser you use, and the pages you view. We use this in aggregate to improve the website; we do not use it to identify individual visitors. Google's handling of this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising and conversion tracking

This website uses Google Ads conversion tracking (Google's gtag.js). It sets cookies and collects data about your visit, such as which pages you view and whether you take certain actions, so we can measure the performance of our advertising. You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings, and control cookies through your browser settings.

Cookies

The site itself does not set its own tracking cookies, but Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking do set cookies (see above). Cookies may also be set by the embedded third parties described above (Vimeo if you play the video, Square if you proceed to booking). You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.

• You can browse the whole site without giving us any personal information, since there is nothing on it to submit.
• You can ask us what information we hold from a text or email you sent, or ask us to delete it.
• You can block cookies and third-party content through your browser settings.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do cut children's hair, but appointments for minors are arranged by a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change, for example if we add or remove a tool that collects data. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above.
