Privacy Policy

RockStar Barber ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website at rockstarbarber.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site and how we handle it. We keep this simple because our data practices are simple.

Information you give us

The only information we collect directly is what you choose to submit through our contact form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, an optional service selection, and your message. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share it with anyone for marketing.

Our contact form is processed by Formspree, a third-party form service. When you submit the form, your information is transmitted to and stored by Formspree so we can receive it. Formspree's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

Booking

When you click a "Book" button, you are taken to our scheduling provider, Square Appointments. Any information you enter there is collected by Square under its own privacy policy. We receive your booking details from Square in order to provide your appointment. See Square's privacy policy for how it handles your data.

Embedded video

Our homepage includes a video that loads from Vimeo only after you click to play it. If you play the video, Vimeo may set cookies and collect data about your interaction under its own privacy policy. If you do not click play, the Vimeo player does not load. See Vimeo's privacy policy.

Advertising and conversion tracking

This website uses Google Ads conversion tracking (Google's gtag.js). It sets cookies and collects data about your visit, such as which pages you view and whether you take certain actions, so we can measure the performance of our advertising. This may involve Google associating your activity with its advertising systems. Google's handling of this data is described at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/ads. You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings, and control cookies through your browser settings.

Cookies

The site itself does not set its own tracking cookies, but Google Ads conversion tracking does set advertising cookies (see above). Cookies may also be set by the embedded third parties described above (Vimeo if you play the video, Square if you proceed to booking). You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.

Your choices

• You can use the site without submitting any personal information by simply not filling out the contact form.
• You can contact us to ask what information we have from your form submission, or to request that we delete it.
• You can block cookies and third-party content through your browser settings.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do cut children's hair, but appointments for minors are arranged by a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change, for example if we add or remove a tool that collects data. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above.
